Xavier House Publishing Signs Award Winning Poet winning poet M Teresa Blaylock. Blaylock in an elite poet has won various wards in poetry-including the prestigious 2007 University of Arkansas James T. Whitehead Sonnet or Sestina Prize. Blaylock as also fared well in international completion with a 13th place finish in Poetry Soup’s 2007 International Competition. Blaylock has also had her works featured in specialty publications such as Poesia magazine, and Aoife's Kiss. With Xavier House Publishing Blaylock will release her second full length book of poetry, Mirrors of Madness and Sight. Xavier House Author Receives Award/Recognition writing ability. Mrs. Lloyd followed up her release of Free Texas with an impressive second place finish in the 2008 Barclay Literature Competition for Central Texas. Due to this accomplishment , coupled with her release of Free Texas, Lloyd was also recently honored by the School District of Belton, Texas. With the recognition piling up for Mrs. Lloyd, Texas Governor Rick Perry got in on the act sending her a letter of thanks for representing Texas so well with her book. Tab Lloyd will be sharing her work with Texas this summer as several book signing events are anticipated.
